Employment Verifications

What You Should Know

If you need a personal employment or wage verification for a third party, you may send a request with your authorization to release the information to the Financial Service Center if you are a student, or to the Human Resources Office if you are faculty or staff.

Normal turnaround time for employment verifications is two business days.

Students

Students may mail or fax their wage or employment request to the Financial Service Center.  All requests must include authorization for the University to release the information. Requests for pay or employment verification must include the year or time period, the specific information requested (earnings, length of employment), and where the form should be sent when complete.

Walk-in assistance is also available at the Financial Service Center, 7 New South, during regular University business hours.

Faculty or Staff

If you need a personal employment verification addressed to you, go to the Office of Human Resources to complete an authorization form detailing the information you require. If you need a third party employment verification, such as those initiated by a mortgage company or bank, the third party must mail or fax a written consent form that you’ve signed to human resources in order to authorize the release of the information.
