What You Should Know

External Lending Options

The University encourages Princeton area banks to provide a full range of banking services to University faculty, staff and students, including mortgage products and other services where appropriate.   The financial institutions listed below have indicated their commitment to providing an array of mortgage products, some with special terms for University affiliated individuals, as well as superior, locally-based customer service.

The University provides this list of local mortgage lending options as a resource for the members of our community without endorsing any specific lender or product.   We encourage you to contact these lenders directly, as well as others of your own choosing, so that you may compare product offerings and evaluate the options that best suit your needs.

External Lending Options and the Tenancy-In-Common Program

Participation in the Tenancy-In-Common (TIC) program may limit your options for obtaining non-University mortgage secured loans on your property such as home equity loans or lines or a refinancing of the first mortgage.   The financial institutions below have products and services in place which may be available to be used in conjunction with a Tenancy-In-Common arrangement.    Please contact them directly to discuss options.
